On Your Mark....

I think this baby is finally starting to get itself into position for D-day. I feel pressure down yonder now and my stomach has been hurting all day. Just an overall blah feeling though, nothing at all spectacular. Also the babies movements seem to more of a trapped and can't get out sort of feeling, rather than it's usual free floating self. Sorry baby but it's almost time... YOU HAVE TO COME OUT! It just doesn't seem like Baby J appreciates it very much, (s)he is used to hanging out transverse in there.

39 Weeks!

Now some people might get excited about being 39 weeks as that could mean the baby could come any time. No so much for me. I could still have 3 weeks. Nothing new or exciting to share. I'm not even sure if they baby is head down right now but I do know it's not engaged. (s)He is still floating freely wherever it darn well pleases, but prefers the right side. Someone needs to tell baby there is only so far they can go though, sometimes it hurts how far it tries to push over here. That is NOT the exit!

Ready For My Epidural

I've been having cramps since early this morning. No contractions though. I have to bitch about it somewhere. I never had any pain ahead of time with the boys. I just went into labor with them and had a baby. Now I know why so many other woman bitch all the time at the end and try so hard to get the baby out. I can't complain to much though I guess, I know the cramps mean "something". Just less work for me to do when the day comes, but do they have to hurt this much already?

38 Weeks!

No sign of Baby J making an appearance anytime soon. Oh well, atleast I am nice and comfortable this pregnancy. Everything is going good. We just wait and wait some more. It is a little hard seeing people due at the same time as me having their babies already though. But I know by now, that that is not how my body does things. I'm sure we'll be atleast a week into September before we see a baby.

The Waiting Game

Nothing new or important to talk about, I am offically full term (I'm 37w4d) but that means nothing to my babies. For a while earlier in the month I was thinking that I might not make it to September, but now I feel like not only will I make it I will probably get halfway through it. There is a full moon tomorrow night... no such luck in it doing a thing for me I'm sure.
I'm ready when you are baby J.
I do actually have the hospital bag packed and ready to go though, lol. Also thanks to all of my wonderul friends, we have everything we need and more for the baby.

Baby Shower

Now I've never actually had a baby shower, but all the mail I got today has to come as close as you can get. My friends are so awesome. I got 3 big ass boxes today and 2 last week. Thanks to Gina, Tracy and Michelle. Baby J is so spoiled.

Oh and I see that I never got back to last weeks update. OH well moving on I'm 36 weeks now.

Adding on, This week I have also gotten a box of goodies from Kara, a box from TracyB and also from Tasha and Moria. The pics are up top too. More to come....

Ah I'll work on this later LOL

34 Weeks!

We are getting there. We bought the baby a bed, and yesterday went to pick up the carseat from my mom's house that her friend gave her. It is in excellent condition, doesn't even look like it's really been used. Only issue is I can't get it to lock into the base.... BUT we don't use the base most of the time anyway especially when they are tiny so we can get along fine without it, if we can't figure it out. Also we have the first litte pack of baby diapers, but still need to stock up on more. The bottom line though is that we have every absolute must to bring the baby home. Now we can work on the the things that are nice to have or that would make things easier. It won't be long now.

Names!

The names have finally offically and any other ly you chose, been decided. Jayden Michael for a boy and Jensen Nicole for a girl. I am sooooooooo happy that I get to use the name I want for a girl. Not that it will matter, we all know this baby is going to be a boy LOL. But just the thought of it makes me so happy. I have also always loved the name Jayden though so I will be happy with whatever we get.

So Little Time...

There just is not enough time to get everything we need before this baby gets here. It is impossible. I was counting on a few things happening and now they aren't, and I'm getting upset. I know it'll be ok in the end, but man people can really disappoint you sometimes.
On top of it all I'm stuck here doing nothing all the time. I used to look forward to friday as being my get out of the house day, we'd do a little shopping and have lunch with the boys. So I'm sad that we didn't get to do that. Oh well whatever. I'm am still lucky to have some of the best friends in the world and that's all I care about. Who needs family?

32 Weeks!

This is going by way to fast for me. I hope we'll have everything we need in time. This would be the one pregnancy I wouldn't mind taking it's time and it's not. Baby is more active than ever right now which is good. Still not a huge mover like Daniel was, but that's ok. (S)he is a night owl like Shawn was so at midnight sometimes even 1am when I'd like to finally get to bed, baby is still going strong. I had to have Mike actually put his hand over the baby last night to get it to stop LOL. They ALWAYS stop moving when I want him to feel them so I knew it would work. Pretty funny!

Illinois Weekend

Our weekend started at 6:30 am friday morning when we all got up and got dressed for our 6 hour car ride. Daniel had been sick on thursday, complete with a seizure, but was good to go on friday. It's actually a rather easy trip, the only time traffic was an issue was construction areas and Louisville. The same goes for the return trip. 4 hours of the trip are Indiana and there were no problems there at all. But I have to say Indianapolis is a very dirty nasty looking city. I am not impressed at all! I think they should just tear it all down and start over. Naperville on the other hand is GORGEOUS! I loved it there. Friday night I went to Nikki's and saw all my friends from the Sept. 05 bub. Saturday I was supposed to go with them and hang out and Christine's and maybe have dinner with some of them BUT Shawn decided to take his turn at being sick. We ended up spending most of the day in the hotel room. We did make it to Christine's about 10 minutes before everyone decided to leave, and that was the last I saw of any of them LOL. They went out that night and had a good time, I watched olympic gymnastics trials on tv. Sunday morning we were supposed to go home, but Shawn did not look up to it, however about an hour later he looked to be feeling a little better and we decided to take a trip to the DuPage Children's Museum. That was a neat place and the kids loved it. We headed home on Monday which was also Mike's 31st birthday. On the way back through Indiana I let him stop and get some fireworks. lol

I'll work on getting pics up later.

Look Out Naperville!

The family and I are coming. Tomorrow morning we will be heading out to Illinois. Nikki lives there duh! Why else would I go? No seriously, we are having a big meet up with 16 of us girls from the Sept. 05 bb. I am so excited and it's a good family getaway for us. Sure I'll be the only one bringing my family, but I kind of like mine, and it's the only way I could go. I am not fortunate enough to have good family or friends to watch my kids. The boys are going to love it though, Shawn lives to stay in hotel rooms, I think it's his favorite thing to do other than play video games.
Daniel is sick today, he has a fever and threw up, but we are on top of it now with medicine and I hope that's the end of that. But otherwise I am all packed up and ready to go.
I don't know how I'll sleep tonight!

Happy 5th Birthday Shawn!

I can't believe he is 5. Time goes by so quickly when you are a mother, but at the same time we have been through so much.
He'll be going to Kindergarten this year, just a couple of months ago we didn't think that would happen, but he's talking again and is pretty much all caught up. We just have a few things to work on and he may need some extra help at school for a while, but I know he can do it.

27 Weeks

Not really much to update, I wish I had more to blog about. I have a rather mundane life. But we are 27 weeks pregnant now, and beginning the 3rd trimester. Hard to believe, it has gone by so fast. Baby is doing great but yesterday I had awful heartburn. I hope that doesn't become a regular occurance. I had heartburn all the time at the end with Shawn, and not once with Daniel. For the most part if I had to compare this pregnancy is more similar to Shawn's, but in it's own way it is totally different too. All 3 of them have been different.

A Boy?

I now have an overwhelming feeling that baby #3 is also a boy. At first I think I am just preparing myself to not be uspet if it is. But honestly I really do think it's another boy, and if I'm wrong well that's great. Oh well not like it matters anyway, you get what you get.

Rethinking the name?

What is wrong with me? Everytime I think I have a name for this baby picked out I love it for a week and then the honeymoon is over. I'm not so sure Jessica is right anymore. Ugh! I'm wondering if nothing will ever feel right to me since I am still so upset over not being able to use the one name in the whole world that I wanted (BIL and his wife used it for their kid after seeing it in Shawn's babybook). I feel like if I can't have Alexis, then nothing will be good enough. And after all of this worrying and back and forthness, I'm sure to have baby boy #3. Naming a boy this time is proving to be just as difficult of a task though. Why can't babies just come with a name already?

Baby Shopping!

So, I got to buy a few things for the baby this weekend. I am totally excited about the baby now. Once I saw how much gender neutral stuff there was at Kohl's I knew I could be ok with not finding out the sex of the baby. It will be such a surprise on delivery day.

Anyway I had tons of fun shopping, of course I wish I had more money to spend, but I think I've got a good start going. My friend Nena is going to send me a bunch of stuff too for the cost of shipping (totally awesome of her). So I'll be set in no time. Just need to buy a carseat and something for baby to sleep in. I haven't decided yet if I should buy a pack n play with a bassinet, or just spend like $40 more and get the crib. I guess that'll depend on where we are living at the time. Please let us have or own place, please let us have our own place. Would love to get a swing too as both of the boys totally loved theirs, but we'll see.

I wanted to take pics to share but my camera batteries are totally dead, so I'll have to share later.

I Wonder

What posseses a five year old to eat a whole chapstick, or an entire bottle of vitamins in one sitting. Doesn't her mother feed her? Then she moved on to the box of airheads in the closet, leaving behind atleast 3 wrappers. (there may be more hiding). But this alone is clearly not enough to keep a five year old entertained, no she then felt the need to shove random coins into Shawn's bubble blowing gun. She painted the walls with shampoo, and pulled random things out of the closet... DVD's the umbrella stroller, 5 pairs of shorts. But the funniest thing is the 3 random pictures of the blank white wall that she took on my digital camera before changing all the settings. Someone tell my why this child was not in school? Why is this child never in school? And why can't her good for nothing, pot smoking, whore of a mother watch her own damn kids!?!
I don't let my kids play in their room ever, is it too much to ask of you to keep your short bus riding kids out of mine.

Belly Pics - What A Huge Difference!

I normally hate sharing belly pics, because I'm fat and loaded with stretch marks, but the difference in these pics is so dramatic I have to share.

The Boys

Here's a cute picture of Shawn and Daniel that I like.

Baby J

Mike and I decided on a girls name for the baby last night Jessica MaryLynn. He is absolutely convinced it's a girl and won't really even consider boys names with me. I do have have a couple in mind just in case though. But it's nice to have something to call the baby, so from now until it's born I'll be calling it baby J, lol. Two of the boys names I like also start with J.
As for baby J (s)he is doing well, this week I have noticed (s)he's gotten into a pretty regular patter for when (s)he's awake or sleeping. And there's been a lot more movement. Still not enough to really feel from the oustside, so I haven't started pestering Mike to put his hand on my belly yet. He'll have weeks and weeks of that to come soon enough anyway. Although I have to admit I don't think it ever really impresses him much. But honestly if he felt the way a baby moves on the inside and carried it around inside of him for many months, he'd feel differently. That's my favorite part of pregnancy, all the big movements and the way it feels.

BBQ - We are nuts!

Last weekend was gorgeous and all Mike and I could thing about was a BBQ. The thought of a big fat barbequed bratwurst made my mouth water and cheeks tremble. So of course we didn't have the money or supplies for a BBQ last weekend and vowed that we'd have one this weekend. Well today it is gorgeously cloudy outside with a high of 46 and a very good chance of rain. Mike is off to the store now to get charcoal. LOL We are so doing this. I am a little upset (ok very) that he only got original potato salad and not the red skin potato salad that I love. He claims they didn't have it, I know how well his eyes work and I'm sure he just didn't see it. So we totally grillin out today, and I don't care what the weather is like. We obviously have to eat it indoors, but so what I dont' like flies in my food anyay.

Halfway Done or Not

Tomorrow I hit 20 weeks the great halfway point of the pregnancy, or is it? Both Shawn and Daniel were fashionably late, so I don't expect this litte sweet pea to be any different. It's going by rather fast for me and all the fun stuff is left. I've started to be able to see movement (and feel occasionally) from the outside. That is my favorite part.

There is still so much left to do though. We don't have anything for baby yet, and haha that even includes names picked out. So I'm pretty glad it's not September yet.
